Muito-Bom set the tone for our dining experience with their Beef Trinchado starter. From the first bite to the last, this dish was nothing short of amazing. The steak was grilled to perfection, and the Trinchado sauce was a symphony of flavours – a mouthwatering marriage of garlic, wine, bay leaf herbs, and spices. It was a taste explosion that had us craving for more.

Clams
Next up, we dove into the Clams, prepared in a white wine and tomato base. The clams were well-sized and bursting with the incredible flavours developed in the broth they were cooked in. What set this dish apart was the addition of green peppers and onions, adding a delightful twist to the classic clam dish. Each bite felt like a kiss from the ocean, and the fresh bread served alongside was the perfect tool to soak up those amazing juices.

Full Chicken
We couldn’t resist the Full Chicken. Grilled to perfection and served with a mild peri-peri sauce, this dish was a showstopper. The chicken was massive, and the flavour was out of this world. It’s hard to believe that chicken could be this delicious. Whether you opt for the lemon and herb, hot peri-peri, or Xai Xai sauce, you’re in for a treat. Just remember to come hungry; this bird could easily feed two!

Calamari, Chouriço & Olives
We couldn’t resist trying the Calamari, Chouriço & Olives, an authentic Portuguese dish that took our taste buds on a journey to flavour town. Prepared and served in a lemon-influenced sauce, the fragrance alone had us drooling. Every element of the dish retained its unique flavour while complementing the others perfectly. If you visit Muito-Bom, don’t leave without trying this culinary masterpiece.

Drinks

Katemba & Piña Colada To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a Katemba, a delightful mix of coke and wine. It’s a true taste of happiness that you can’t go wrong with. And then there was the Piña Colada, made from scratch, thirst-quenching, and utterly delicious. Just be careful; it’s so good that you might find yourself ordering one too many!

Casa Portuguesa Red Wine by José Maria da Fonseca For wine enthusiasts, Casa Portuguesa Red Wine is a must-try. With its complex flavour profile, including dark berries, floral notes, vanilla, chocolate, and more, it’s the perfect accompaniment to any dish. In fact, it pairs well with everything on the menu!
