Pure Harvest Dining, Fresh Flavours by the Sea!

Say hello to the KZN South Coast’s best-kept secret, Pure Harvest Dining in Shelly Beach! A day here is all about wholesome, feel-good food with a dose of coastal charm that makes you forget your calories as you soak it all in. 

We were welcomed like long-lost friends, greeted by super-friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming staff who set the tone for a truly feel-good experience. 

The venue is Instagram juice all the way, three distinct seating zones, an indoor area decked with shelves filled with locally sourced wellness goodies, a sprawling outdoor dining space, and a seriously epic kiddies’ play zone. Every corner invites you to linger and soak up the coastal vibes. 

Every dish we tried was plated like art and exploded with flavour. Here’s what we devoured: 

Coffee French Toast

Gluten-free sourdough topped with banana slices and a hearty drizzle of honey, plus coffee-infused whipped cream, is the perfect sweet start to any morning. 

Banana Bread 

Toasted to golden perfection, served with cinnamon-honey butter that melts into every nook (and trust us, you’ll want to soak it all). 

Hot Honey Chicken Bowl 

Think free-range organic chicken, whole grain rice, rainbow slaw, avo, grilled pineapple, and a hot honey mayo, pure magic. Hands down the best bowl ever. Huge portions, and one bite after another, made us go back again and again. 

Spicy BBQ Wings 

Panko-crusted wings coated in sticky, spicy BBQ sauce, with cheesy dipping goodness and crisp chips (Better than finger-licking good). 

Gluten-Free Carrot Cake

Carrot cake upgrade, moist, flavour-packed, and absolutely irresistible. 

Gluten-Free Lemon Meringue

A silky tart with a built-for-crunch buttery base, smooth, zesty and divinely balanced. 

Salted Caramel Milkshake
One word, AMAZING. Creamy, sweet-salty, and addictive. This is a MUST TRY! 

Pineapple Smoothie
Pure bliss served in a glass, sweet, sour, creamy, refreshing. Another repeat visit! 

Doggie Menu 

Yes, they really mean family-friendly! Tia-Maria, our pug, grabbed her own Doggie Lemon Meringue on a charming doggie plate which got LICKED clean. Approved by our very own discerning fur-baby. 

Honestly, every dish felt luxe enough to serve anyone and still nailed that wholesome, nutritional vibe. Pure Harvest isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a coastal hug on a plate, and easily the South Coast’s quiet star.
